Sister’s apprenticeship programme allows individuals to learn the skills to become a tailor. Following the apprenticeship, we look to purchase a sewing machine for individual students along with a starter kit consisting of scissors, a tape and threads. This year we purchased 4 sewing machines for 4 disabled students enabling then to work and support their families and a very advanced machine for the centre, this machine is electric and has the strength to make vinyl bags for the school students. It also enables the students to gain more experience. The machine will be available for all those students who have graduated as well.
