This is the 2019 newsletter highlighting our latest trip to Bahir Dar Ethiopia.   

It has now been 15 years since we first started supporting the community in Bahir Dar Ethiopia, in that time we have seen vast changes not only to the community but to Bahir Dar itself.  The town has grown beyond all recognition and is expanding reaching further into the countryside.  Development is a good thing as it brings more work and prosperity but it appears the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer added to this the rising living costs, it is the poor who are being hit the hardest.  

Our funding is made up of the support of friends and family as well as fund raising events throughout the year and the sale of local handicrafts that we bring back from Ethiopia each year.  Every penny received or collected gets to Ethiopia, Ethiopiahope has no overheads or administration costs.

Once again, a huge thank you for all the support you have given Ethiopiahope not just this year but for the last 15 years.  The changes in people’s lives by giving them the small help to become self-sufficient will help support further generations.
