April 2013 Photo session for the sponsor children As mentioned we are currently sponsoring 45 children and like to get a photo of each child for our sponsors and we thought this year it would be nice for each child to colour a picture to give to their sponsor. We asked the teachers to collect the children from their classes and to take the children to another room to do some colouring whilst having their photos taken so we could then give these to the many sponsors back in England.  As each child came in we gave then a number corresponding with their name on the sponsor list and the picture they were to colour. It sounded so easy or so we thought it would be. Once the children saw the pictures and the many colouring pens it was like herding cats. The plan was to get the children to sit in rows but our organizational methods were lost and we spent the afternoon matching up the child’s name with the list and the associated numbers on the pictures and then the photos.  The children had a great time, the teachers and we were shattered. For those of you who are sponsoring a child we thank you and hope you enjoy your picture and the photo. Please spare a thought however for the cat herders. We still have a few children in Day Care and School that need a sponsor, if you can help please let us know.
