It all started after going on holiday to Ethiopia in 2003 and we have been hooked ever since, going back every year and helping as much as we can.

You will see from the yearly updates how much we have been able to achieve from the help and support of our family and friends. That's the reason for developing the site not only to share our holidays but to show you just what can be achieved.

We work with Sister Terfatu in the 'Women in development centre' this is helping the very poor with housing, the children with education and food and the women some life skills, HIV/AIDS, hygiene, cooking ad child care.  Also training the women so they can improve their standard of the living and can start providing for their families. 

We've built the site to tell the story of the Bahir Dar projects and the people we've met. But if you'd like to know more please just ask.
